Archivierte mails outlook

In Outlook, archived emails are moved to a special folder called the "Archived Items" folder, which is located in the "Local Folders" section of the Outlook folder hierarchy. When you archive an email, it is moved from its original folder to the "Archived Items" folder, where it is stored for future reference.

Here's how to archive emails in Outlook:

  1. Select the emails you want to archive by checking the boxes next to them in the Inbox or other folders.
  2. Right-click on the selected emails and choose "Move to" > "Archived Items" from the context menu.
  3. Alternatively, you can also use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + Shift + A" to archive the selected emails.
  4. You can also use the "Archive" button in the "Home" tab of the ribbon to archive emails.

Note that archiving emails does not delete them permanently. Instead, it moves them to the "Archived Items" folder, where they can be accessed later.

You can also set up Outlook to automatically archive emails based on certain criteria, such as the age of the email or the size of the folder. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the "File" menu and select "Options".
  2. Click on the "Advanced" tab.
  3. Scroll down to the "Archiving" section.
  4. Check the box next to "Automatically archive items older than [number] months".
  5. Enter the number of months you want to archive emails for.
  6. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Outlook will then automatically archive emails that meet the specified criteria on a regular basis.
