A common problem!

If you've accidentally deleted or archived emails in Outlook and want to restore them, here are some steps to help you recover them:

Method 1: Restore from the "Deleted Items" folder

  1. Open Outlook and go to the "Deleted Items" folder (usually located in the "On the Server" or "Local Folders" section).
  2. Look for the emails you want to restore and select them by checking the boxes next to each email.
  3. Right-click on the selected emails and choose "Recover Deleted Items" (or "Restore" in older versions of Outlook).
  4. Confirm that you want to restore the emails.

Method 2: Use the "Recover Deleted Items" feature

  1. Open Outlook and go to the "File" menu.
  2. Click on "Info" and then "Account Settings".
  3. Click on "Data Files" and select the data file where the deleted emails are stored (usually "Outlook Data File (.pst)" or "Exchange Server").
  4. Click on "Recover Deleted Items" and follow the prompts to restore the emails.

Method 3: Use a third-party email recovery tool

  1. Download and install a third-party email recovery tool, such as EaseUS Email Recovery or Kernel for Outlook PST Repair.
  2. Follow the tool's instructions to scan your Outlook data file for deleted emails.
  3. Select the emails you want to restore and save them to a new location.

Method 4: Use the "Archive" feature

  1. If you've archived emails in Outlook, you can try restoring them from the archive.
  2. Go to the "File" menu and click on "Open & Export".
  3. Select "Archive" and choose the archive file where the emails are stored.
  4. Look for the emails you want to restore and select them by checking the boxes next to each email.
  5. Right-click on the selected emails and choose "Restore" to move them back to your inbox.
