As of my knowledge cutoff, the IRS has started sending out the second round of Economic Impact Payments (EIPs), also known as stimulus checks, to eligible individuals and families. However, the timing and availability of the checks vary depending on several factors.

Here are some general guidelines:

  1. Direct Deposit: If you received your first stimulus check via direct deposit, you may have already received the second payment. The IRS started depositing the second round of payments into bank accounts on December 29, 2020.
  2. Paper Checks: If you're receiving a paper check, it may take a few weeks to arrive. The IRS began mailing paper checks on December 30, 2020.
  3. Debit Cards: Some recipients may receive their stimulus payment on a prepaid debit card, such as the RushCard or the GoBank card. These cards are being mailed out starting December 30, 2020.
  4. Check Status: You can check the status of your stimulus check on the IRS's "Get My Payment" tool on their website. This tool will show you if your payment has been processed, sent, or if there's an issue with your payment.
