Att.net mail setup log
Here is a step-by-step guide to setting up your att.net email account on a device:

Step 1: Enable IMAP
- Log in to your AT&T email account on a web browser.
- Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select "Settings".
- Scroll down to the "Accounts" section and click on "Edit".
- Under "Account settings", toggle the switch next to "IMAP" to the "On" position.
Step 2: Set up your device
For iPhone/iPad:
- Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
- Tap "Add Account" and select "Other".
- Tap "Add Mail Account" and enter your name, email address, and password.
- Tap "Next" and select "IMAP" as the account type.
- Enter the following settings:
- Host Name: imap.att.net
- User Name: your email address
- Password: your email password
- Port: 993
- SSL: On
- Tap "Next" and then "Save".
For Android:
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Add account.
- Select "Personal (IMAP)" and enter your email address and password.
- Tap "Next" and select "IMAP" as the account type.
- Enter the following settings:
- Host Name: imap.att.net
- User Name: your email address
- Password: your email password
- Port: 993
- SSL: On
- Tap "Next" and then "Save".
For Windows:
- Open the Mail app and click on "File" > "Add account".
- Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next".
