Attach mail in gmail

To attach a file to an email in Gmail, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the "Compose" button to start a new email.
  3. Enter the recipient's email address in the "To" field.
  4. Type in the subject of the email in the "Subject" field.
  5. Click on the "Attach file" button, which looks like a paperclip.
  6. Select the file you want to attach from your computer or device.
  7. You can attach multiple files by selecting them one by one.
  8. Once you've selected all the files you want to attach, click on the "Attach" button.
  9. The files will be attached to the email and will be visible in the email body.
  10. You can also add a description or a note about the attachment by clicking on the "Add a note" button.
  11. Finally, click on the "Send" button to send the email.

Alternatively, you can also attach files to an email by dragging and dropping them into the email body. To do this:

  1. Open the email composition window.
  2. Drag and drop the file you want to attach from your computer or device into the email body.
  3. The file will be attached to the email and will be visible in the email body.
  4. You can also add a description or a note about the attachment by clicking on the "Add a note" button.
  5. Finally, click on the "Send" button to send the email.

Note: The maximum file size for attachments in Gmail is 25MB. If you need to send larger files, you can use Google Drive or other cloud storage services to share the files.
