Australia post forward mail to another address
A convenient and popular service!
Australia Post's Forward Mail service allows you to redirect your mail to another address, either temporarily or permanently. Here's how it works:
How to set up Forward Mail:
- Choose your service: You can opt for either a Temporary Forward Mail or Permanent Forward Mail service.
- Temporary Forward Mail: Redirect your mail to another address for a specific period (e.g., 1-12 months).
- Permanent Forward Mail: Redirect your mail to another address indefinitely.
- Fill out the application: Download and complete the Forward Mail application form (available on the Australia Post website or at a post office).
- Provide required information: Include your name, address, and the address you want to forward your mail to. You'll also need to provide a reason for using the service (e.g., moving, traveling, or receiving mail at a different address).
- Pay the fee: There's a one-time setup fee, which varies depending on the type of service and the number of months you want to use it for. You can pay by cash, credit card, or debit card.
- Submit your application: Take your completed application and payment to a post office or mail center.
Temporary Forward Mail:
- Fee: $20-$50 (depending on the number of months)
