Auto bcc in windows live mail 2012
A blast from the past!
Windows Live Mail 2012 is an older email client, and its features may not be as extensive as newer email clients. However, I can try to help you with the auto BCC (blind carbon copy) feature.
To set up auto BCC in Windows Live Mail 2012:
- Open Windows Live Mail 2012 and go to the "Tools" menu.
- Click on "Accounts" and select the account you want to configure auto BCC for.
- Click on the "Properties" button next to the account name.
- In the "Account Properties" window, click on the "More Settings" button.
- In the "More Settings" window, click on the "Delivery" tab.
- Under "Delivery", check the box next to "Add a BCC recipient".
- Enter the email address you want to auto BCC to in the "BCC recipient" field.
- Click "OK" to save the changes.
Note that this will add a BCC recipient to all outgoing emails from this account. If you want to set up auto BCC for a specific folder or group of contacts, you may need to use a third-party add-in or a different email client.
Also, keep in mind that auto BCC may not work as expected if you're using a POP3 account, as POP3 accounts don't support BCC recipients. If you're using an IMAP account, auto BCC should work as expected.
