Auto bcc in windows live mail 2012

A blast from the past!

Windows Live Mail 2012 is an older email client, and its features may not be as extensive as newer email clients. However, I can try to help you with the auto BCC (blind carbon copy) feature.

To set up auto BCC in Windows Live Mail 2012:

  1. Open Windows Live Mail 2012 and go to the "Tools" menu.
  2. Click on "Accounts" and select the account you want to configure auto BCC for.
  3. Click on the "Properties" button next to the account name.
  4. In the "Account Properties" window, click on the "More Settings" button.
  5. In the "More Settings" window, click on the "Delivery" tab.
  6. Under "Delivery", check the box next to "Add a BCC recipient".
  7. Enter the email address you want to auto BCC to in the "BCC recipient" field.
  8. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Note that this will add a BCC recipient to all outgoing emails from this account. If you want to set up auto BCC for a specific folder or group of contacts, you may need to use a third-party add-in or a different email client.

Also, keep in mind that auto BCC may not work as expected if you're using a POP3 account, as POP3 accounts don't support BCC recipients. If you're using an IMAP account, auto BCC should work as expected.
