Auto forward email to another address
The convenience of auto-forwarding emails!
To auto-forward emails to another address, you'll need to set up a rule or filter in your email client or provider. Here are the general steps:
Gmail:
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner.
- Select "See all settings."
- Go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
- Click on "Create a new filter."
- Enter the criteria for the filter (e.g., "from: [sender's email]").
- Select "Forward to" and enter the email address you want to forward to.
- Click "Create filter."
Outlook:
- Open Outlook and go to the "Home" tab.
- Click on "Rules" in the "Move" group.
- Click on "New Rule."
- Select "Start from a blank rule" and click "Next."
- Choose "Apply rule on messages I receive" and click "Next."
