Auto move to junk mail

To auto-move emails to the "Junk Mail" or "Spam" folder, you can set up filters in your email client or provider. Here are the general steps:

Gmail:

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner.
  3. Select "See all settings."
  4. Go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
  5. Click on "Create a new filter."
  6. Enter the criteria for the filter, such as "From" or "Subject" containing specific keywords.
  7. Select "Apply the label" and choose "Junk Mail" or "Spam."
  8. Click "Create."

Outlook:

  1. Log in to your Outlook account.

  3. Select "View all Outlook settings."
  4. Go to the "Mail" tab.
  5. Click on "Filters and rules."
  6. Click on "New rule."
  7. Select "Move messages from someone to the specified folder."
  8. Enter the criteria for the rule, such as "From" or "Subject" containing specific keywords.
  9. Select "Junk Mail" or "Spam" as the destination folder.
  10. Click "Save."

Other email providers:

If you're using a different email provider, such as Yahoo, AOL, or ProtonMail, you can usually find the filter or rule settings in the account settings or preferences. Look for options like "Filters," "Rules," "Spam," or "Junk Mail" to set up your auto-move rules.

Remember to regularly check your Junk Mail or Spam folder to ensure that important emails aren't being incorrectly flagged as spam.
