Auto reply email outlook express

The nostalgia! Outlook Express was a popular email client in the early 2000s. While it's no longer supported by Microsoft, I can still help you with setting up an auto-reply email in Outlook Express.

Method 1: Using the "Rules" feature

  1. Open Outlook Express and go to the "Tools" menu.
  2. Click on "Rules" and then "New".
  3. In the "Rule Name" field, enter a name for your rule, such as "Auto Reply".
  4. In the "Conditions" section, select "From" and then "Is" and enter the email address you want to auto-reply from.
  5. In the "Actions" section, select "Reply" and then "Using a template".
  6. In the "Template" field, enter the auto-reply message you want to send. You can use plain text or HTML formatting.
  7. Click "OK" to save the rule.

Method 2: Using the "Send/Receive" feature

  1. Open Outlook Express and go to the "Tools" menu.
  2. Click on "Send/Receive" and then "Send/Receive Settings".
  3. In the "Send/Receive Settings" window, click on the "Auto Reply" tab.
  4. Check the box next to "Auto Reply" and enter the auto-reply message you want to send.
  5. You can also set the start and end dates for the auto-reply period.
  6. Click "OK" to save the settings.
