Automatically forward emails in outlook 2003

A blast from the past! Outlook 2003 is an older version, but I can still help you with forwarding emails automatically.

To set up automatic email forwarding in Outlook 2003, follow these steps:

  1. Open Outlook 2003 and go to the "Tools" menu.
  2. Click on "Rules and Alerts" (it's the last option in the drop-down menu).
  3. Click on the "New Rule" button.
  4. Select "Start from a blank rule" and click "Next".
  5. Choose "Check messages when they arrive" and click "Next".
  6. Select "with specific words in the subject" or "with specific words in the body" depending on your needs. You can also choose "with specific words in the sender's address" if you want to forward emails from a specific sender.
  7. Click "Specify words" and enter the specific words or phrases you want to use as a trigger for forwarding.
  8. Click "Next" and then "Finish".
  9. In the "Rules and Alerts" window, click on the "Edit" button next to the rule you just created.
  10. In the "Edit Rule" window, click on the "Actions" tab.
  11. Click on the "Forward it to the following people (or distribution list)" option.
  12. Enter the email address of the person or distribution list you want to forward the emails to.
  13. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Now, whenever an email arrives in your inbox that matches the criteria you specified, it will be automatically forwarded to the specified email address.

Note: Make sure to test the rule by sending an email to yourself with the specified subject or body text to ensure it's working correctly.
