Automatically show images in yahoo mail

The nostalgia of Yahoo Mail!

Unfortunately, Yahoo Mail no longer automatically shows images in emails by default due to security concerns. This is a common practice among email providers to prevent malicious images from being loaded and potentially compromising user security.

However, you can still configure Yahoo Mail to show images in emails if you trust the senders and want to view the images. Here's how:

Method 1: Enable images from specific senders

  1. Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner and select "Settings."
  3. Scroll down to the "More Settings" section and click on "Security."
  4. Under "Security settings," toggle the switch next to "Allow images from specific senders" to the "On" position.
  5. Enter the email addresses of the senders you trust in the "Allowed senders" field.
  6. Click "Save" to save your changes.

Method 2: Enable images for all emails

  1. Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner and select "Settings."
  3. Scroll down to the "More Settings" section and click on "Security."
  4. Under "Security settings," toggle the switch next to "Allow images from all senders" to the "On" position.
  5. Click "Save" to save your changes.

Note: Enabling images for all emails or specific senders may increase the risk of malware or phishing attacks. Be cautious when enabling images, and only do so if you trust the senders.

After enabling images, you should be able to view images in your Yahoo Mail emails. However, keep in mind that Yahoo Mail may still block images from unknown or suspicious senders to protect your account.
