Bell email windows live mail

A blast from the past!

Windows Live Mail was a free email client developed by Microsoft, which was first released in 2007. It was designed to be a more user-friendly alternative to Microsoft Outlook Express. Unfortunately, Windows Live Mail is no longer supported by Microsoft and has been discontinued.

If you're still using Windows Live Mail, you may be experiencing issues with sending and receiving emails. Here are a few options to help you transition to a more modern email client:

  1. Microsoft Outlook: You can upgrade to Microsoft Outlook, which is a more powerful and feature-rich email client. Outlook is available as a standalone application or as part of the Microsoft Office suite.
  2. Windows Mail: If you're using Windows 10, you can use the built-in Windows Mail app, which is a modern email client that supports multiple accounts, including POP3 and IMAP.
  3. Third-party email clients: There are many third-party email clients available that support Windows Live Mail accounts, such as Mozilla Thunderbird, eM Client, or Opera Mail.
  4. Web-based email clients: You can also access your Windows Live Mail account through a web-based email client like Outlook.com or Yahoo Mail.

To migrate your Windows Live Mail account to a new email client, you'll need to export your emails and contacts. Here's how:

  1. Open Windows Live Mail and go to File > Export.
  2. Select Export to a file and choose the format you want to export your emails in (e.g., EML, PST, or MSG).
  3. Choose a location to save the exported files and click Export.
  4. Repeat the process for your contacts by going to File > Export > Contacts.

Once you've exported your emails and contacts, you can import them into your new email client.
