Big sur mail classic view

The classic view of Mail in Big Sur!

In macOS Big Sur, the Mail app has undergone a significant redesign, and the classic view is no longer the default. However, you can still access the classic view by following these steps:

  1. Open Mail on your Mac.
  2. Click on the "Mail" menu at the top of the screen and select "Preferences" (or use the keyboard shortcut Command + comma).
  3. In the Preferences window, click on the "General" tab.
  4. Uncheck the box next to "Use natural language processing to improve the accuracy of the search results".
  5. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Once you've made this change, the classic view will be restored, and you'll see the familiar layout with the folders and accounts listed on the left side of the window.

Note that this change will only affect the current user account, and the classic view will not be the default for new user accounts or when you restart your Mac.

Also, keep in mind that the classic view is no longer supported by Apple, and it may not receive updates or bug fixes. If you're experiencing issues with the classic view, you may want to consider using the new design, which offers improved performance and features.
