Bigpond mail server settings outlook 2007
Here are the BigPond mail server settings for Outlook 2007:
Incoming Mail Server (POP3)
- Server name: pop.bigpond.com
- Port: 110
- Username: Your BigPond email address (e.g. [yourname]@bigpond.com)
- Password: Your BigPond email password
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
- Server name: smtp.bigpond.com
- Port: 25
- Username: Your BigPond email address (e.g. [yourname]@bigpond.com)
- Password: Your BigPond email password
Additional Settings
- Authentication: Use the same username and password for both incoming and outgoing servers
- Leave a copy of messages on the server: Yes (if you want to keep a copy of your emails on the BigPond server)
- Remove read messages from server: No (if you want to keep read emails on the server)
Steps to set up BigPond email in Outlook 2007
- Open Outlook 2007 and go to Tools > Account Settings.
- Click on "New" to create a new email account.
- Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next".
- Select "Internet E-mail" and click "Next".
- Enter your name, email address, and password.
- Click on "More Settings" and go to the "Outgoing Server" tab.
