Bigpond mail server settings outlook 2007

Here are the BigPond mail server settings for Outlook 2007:

Incoming Mail Server (POP3)

• Server name: pop.bigpond.com
• Port: 110
• Username: Your BigPond email address (e.g. [yourname]@bigpond.com)
• Password: Your BigPond email password

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)

• Server name: smtp.bigpond.com
• Port: 25
• Username: Your BigPond email address (e.g. [yourname]@bigpond.com)
• Password: Your BigPond email password

Additional Settings

• Authentication: Use the same username and password for both incoming and outgoing servers
• Leave a copy of messages on the server: Yes (if you want to keep a copy of your emails on the BigPond server)
• Remove read messages from server: No (if you want to keep read emails on the server)

Steps to set up BigPond email in Outlook 2007

1. Open Outlook 2007 and go to Tools > Account Settings.
2. Click on "New" to create a new email account.
3. Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next".
4. Select "Internet E-mail" and click "Next".
5. Enter your name, email address, and password.
6. Click on "More Settings" and go to the "Outgoing Server" tab.
7. Check the box next to "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" and select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".
