Incoming Mail Server:
- Server Name: mail.bigpond.com
- Server Port: 110 (POP3) or 993 (IMAP)
- Username: Your BigPond email address (e.g. [yourname]@bigpond.com)
- Password: Your BigPond email password
Outgoing Mail Server:
- Server Name: mail.bigpond.com
- Server Port: 25 (SMTP) or 587 (SMTP-TLS)
- Username: Your BigPond email address (e.g. [yourname]@bigpond.com)
- Password: Your BigPond email password
Additional Settings:
- Authentication: Password
- Use SSL/TLS: Yes (recommended)
- Use Authentication: Yes
Configuring BigPond Mail on Mac OS X:
- Open the Mail app on your Mac.
- Click on "Mail" in the top menu bar and select "Preferences".
- Click on the "Accounts" tab.
- Click on the "+" button to add a new account.
