Prerequisites:

  1. You have a BigPond email account (e.g., [yourname]@bigpond.com).
  2. You have Windows Live Mail installed on your computer.
  3. You have a working internet connection.

Setting up BigPond on Windows Live Mail:

  1. Open Windows Live Mail on your computer.
  2. Click on "Email" in the top menu bar and select "Account Settings" from the drop-down menu.
  3. In the "Account Settings" window, click on "Add a new email account" and select "Manual setup or additional server types".
  4. Select "POP3" as the account type and enter the following settings:
