Bigpond windows live mail outlook

A blast from the past!

BigPond was a popular internet service provider (ISP) in Australia, and Windows Live Mail was a free email service offered by Microsoft. Outlook is a popular email client developed by Microsoft.

Here's a brief history:

In 2012, Telstra rebranded its BigPond email service as Outlook.com, which is now a part of Microsoft's Outlook family of products. This means that users who previously used BigPond email accounts can now access their email using the Outlook.com web interface or the Outlook desktop client.

If you're looking to migrate from BigPond Windows Live Mail to Outlook, you can follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your BigPond email account using the Outlook.com web interface.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the page and select "Settings".
  3. Click on the "Accounts" tab and select "Import/Export".
  4. Follow the prompts to import your BigPond email account into Outlook.com.
  5. Once the import is complete, you can access your email using the Outlook.com web interface or the Outlook desktop client.

Note that you may need to update your email settings and passwords to access your BigPond email account using Outlook.com.
