A blast from the past!

Blackmail was a Swedish pop-rock band that was formed in 1997 and was active until 2002. The band consisted of members Andreas "Vanity" Frey, Patrik Frisk, and Patrik Lundin.

Vanity, whose real name is Andreas Frey, was the lead vocalist and a key songwriter for the band. He was known for his distinctive voice and charismatic stage presence.

Blackmail's music style was a blend of pop, rock, and punk influences, with catchy hooks and melodies. They released three studio albums: "Blackmail" (1999), "The Greatest Show on Earth" (2000), and "The Last Train" (2001).

The band gained a significant following in Sweden and Europe, and they toured extensively throughout their career. They also performed at several major music festivals, including the Swedish music festival, Hultsfred Festival.

After Blackmail disbanded, Vanity went on to pursue a solo career, releasing several albums and singles. He has also worked as a songwriter and producer for other artists.
