Blazer net email header
A blast from the past!
The Blazer Net email header is a format used by the Blazer Net email client, which was popular in the 1990s. Here's an example of what a Blazer Net email header might look like:
From: John Doe <[email protected]>
To: Jane Smith <[email protected]>
Subject: Test Email
Date: Wed, 12 Jan 1994 14:30:00 -0500
Message-ID: <[email protected]>
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Note that the header fields are similar to those used in modern email clients, but with some differences in formatting and syntax. The Message-ID
field, for example, is unique to Blazer Net and is used to identify the email message.
Here's a breakdown of the header fields:
From
: The sender's email address and name.To
: The recipient's email address and name.Subject
: The subject line of the email.Date
: The date and time the email was sent.Message-ID
: A unique identifier for the email message, used to prevent duplicate delivery.MIME-Version
: The version of the Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME) standard used in the email.Content-Type
: The type of content in the email, in this case, plain text with a US-ASCII character set.
Keep in mind that Blazer Net is no longer a widely used email client, and this header format is mostly of historical interest.
