Block e mail
You want to block an email address or a sender from sending you emails. Here are the steps to do so:
Method 1: Block an email address in Gmail
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "See all settings."
- Go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
- Click on "Create a new filter."
- Enter the email address you want to block in the "From" field.
- Click on "Create filter."
- Select "Block" as the action.
- Click on "Create."
Method 2: Block an email address in Outlook
- Log in to your Outlook account.
- Click on the "File" menu and select "Options."
- Go to the "Mail" tab.
- Click on "Junk Email" and then select "Junk Mail Options."
- Click on the "Safe Senders" tab.
- Click on "Add" and enter the email address you want to block.
- Select "Block" as the action.
- Click on "OK."
Method 3: Block an email address in Yahoo Mail
- Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
- Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "More settings."
- Go to the "Filters" tab.
- Click on "Add filter."
- Enter the email address you want to block in the "From" field.
- Select "Block" as the action.
- Click on "Save."
Method 4: Block an email address in Mozilla Thunderbird
- Open Thunderbird and go to the "Tools" menu.
- Select "Account Settings."
- Go to the "Composition" tab.
- Click on "Spam" and then select "Add."
- Enter the email address you want to block.
- Select "Block" as the action.
- Click on "OK."
Note: These steps may vary slightly depending on the email provider and client you are using. Additionally, some email providers may have additional steps or options to block email addresses.
