Block email in mail app

To block an email in the Mail app on your iPhone or iPad, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Block an email from a specific sender

  1. Open the Mail app and go to the inbox.
  2. Find the email from the sender you want to block.
  3. Swipe left on the email to reveal the "More" option.
  4. Tap "More" and then tap "Block [Sender's Name]".
  5. Confirm that you want to block the sender by tapping "Block" again.

Method 2: Block an email from a specific domain

  1. Open the Mail app and go to the inbox.
  2. Find the email from the domain you want to block (e.g., @example.com).
  3. Swipe left on the email to reveal the "More" option.
  4. Tap "More" and then tap "Block [Domain Name]".
  5. Confirm that you want to block the domain by tapping "Block" again.

Method 3: Block an email with a specific subject line

  1. Open the Mail app and go to the inbox.
  2. Find the email with the subject line you want to block.
  3. Swipe left on the email to reveal the "More" option.
  4. Tap "More" and then tap "Block [Subject Line]".
  5. Confirm that you want to block the subject line by tapping "Block" again.

Once you block an email, it will be moved to the "Blocked" folder in the Mail app, and you won't receive any further emails from that sender, domain, or with that subject line.

Note: You can also block emails from specific senders or domains in the Mail app's settings. To do this, go to Settings > Mail > Blocked Senders, and add the sender or domain you want to block.
