Block email sender in outlook

To block an email sender in Outlook, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Block sender using the Junk Email Filter

  1. Open Outlook and go to the "Home" tab in the ribbon.
  2. Click on the "Junk" button in the "Move" group.
  3. Select "Junk Email Options" from the dropdown menu.
  4. In the "Junk Email Options" window, click on the "Safe Senders" tab.
  5. Click on the "Add" button.
  6. Enter the email address of the sender you want to block in the "Enter an email address or IP address" field.
  7. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Method 2: Block sender using the "Block" feature

  1. Open Outlook and go to the "Home" tab in the ribbon.
  2. Click on the "Move" button in the "Move" group.
  3. Select "Block" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Enter the email address of the sender you want to block in the "Block" dialog box.
  5. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Method 3: Block sender using the "Rules" feature

  1. Open Outlook and go to the "Home" tab in the ribbon.
  2. Click on the "Rules" button in the "Move" group.
  3. Select "Manage Rules & Alerts" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on the "New Rule" button.
  5. Select "Start from a blank rule" and then "Apply rule on messages I receive".
  6. Click on the "More Options" button.
  7. Select "contains specific words" and then enter the email address of the sender you want to block.
  8. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Once you've blocked an email sender, any future emails from that sender will be automatically moved to the "Junk Email" folder. You can also choose to delete or mark as read any emails from that sender that are already in your inbox.

Note: Blocking an email sender will not prevent them from sending you emails, but it will prevent those emails from being delivered to your inbox.
