Block emails in yahoo mail

Yahoo Mail allows you to block emails from specific senders or domains to help you manage your inbox and reduce spam. Here's how to block emails in Yahoo Mail:

Method 1: Block an email address

  1. Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
  2. Open the email from the sender you want to block.
  3. Click on the "More" menu at the top of the email.
  4. Select "Block this sender" from the dropdown menu.
  5. Confirm that you want to block the sender by clicking "Block" in the pop-up window.

Method 2: Block a domain

  1. Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
  2. Click on the "Settings" icon () at the top right corner of the page.
  3. Select "More Settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on "Filters" from the left-hand menu.
  5. Click on "Add a filter" at the top of the page.
  6. Enter the domain you want to block in the "From" field.
  7. Select "Block" from the "Action" dropdown menu.
  8. Click "Save" to save the filter.

Method 3: Block a sender using the "Spam" folder

  1. Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
  2. Open the "Spam" folder.
  3. Find the email from the sender you want to block.
  4. Click on the "More" menu at the top of the email.
  5. Select "Mark as spam" from the dropdown menu.
  6. Confirm that you want to mark the email as spam by clicking "Mark as spam" in the pop-up window.
  7. The sender will be added to your blocked senders list.

Note: When you block an email address or domain, any future emails from that sender will be automatically moved to your "Spam" folder. If you want to unblock a sender, you can go to the "Settings" icon () > "More Settings" > "Filters" and edit the filter to change the action from "Block" to "Allow".
