You can block email addresses in Gmail using the following methods:

Method 1: Block an email address using the "Block" button

1. Open your Gmail inbox.
2. Click on the email from the sender you want to block.
3. Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
4. Select "Block [sender's email address]" from the dropdown menu.
5. Confirm that you want to block the sender by clicking "Block" in the pop-up window.

Method 2: Block an email address using the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" page

1. Open your Gmail settings by clicking on the gear icon at the top right corner of the page.
2. Click on "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
3. Scroll down to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
4. Click on "Create a new filter" at the bottom of the page.
5. Enter the email address you want to block in the "From" field.
6. Click on "Create filter" and then select "Block" from the dropdown menu.
7. Confirm that you want to block the sender by clicking "Create" in the pop-up window.

Method 3: Block an email address using the "Report spam" feature

1. Open your Gmail inbox.
2. Click on the email from the sender you want to block.
3. Click on the "Report spam" button at the top of the email.
4. Confirm that you want to report the email as spam by clicking "Report spam" in the pop-up window.

Note: When you block an email address, Gmail will automatically move any future emails from that sender to the "Spam" folder. You can also report spam emails to help Gmail's algorithms improve their spam detection.

Additionally, you can also block email addresses using Gmail's "Block sender" feature, which is available in the Gmail app on Android and iOS devices. To do this:

1. Open the Gmail app.
2. Tap on the email from the sender you want to block.
3. Tap on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
4. Select "Block sender" from the dropdown menu.
5. Confirm that you want to block the sender by tapping "Block" in the pop-up window.
