Block senders in apple mail

To block senders in Apple Mail, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Block a sender using the "Junk Mail" feature

  1. Open Apple Mail and select the email message from the sender you want to block.
  2. Click on the "Junk" button in the top right corner of the message window.
  3. Select "Mark as Junk" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click "OK" to confirm.
  5. Go to Mail > Preferences > Junk Mail.
  6. Click on the "Block" tab.
  7. Click on the "Add" button next to "Block Senders".
  8. Enter the email address or domain of the sender you want to block.
  9. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Method 2: Block a sender using the "Block" feature

  1. Open Apple Mail and select the email message from the sender you want to block.
  2. Right-click (or control-click) on the message and select "Block [Sender's Email Address]" from the context menu.
  3. Confirm that you want to block the sender by clicking "Block" in the dialog box.

Method 3: Block a sender using the "Contacts" feature

  1. Open Apple Mail and select the email message from the sender you want to block.
  2. Right-click (or control-click) on the message and select "Get Info" from the context menu.
  3. In the "Get Info" window, click on the "Contact" tab.
  4. Click on the "Block" button next to "Block This Contact".
  5. Confirm that you want to block the sender by clicking "Block" in the dialog box.

Once you've blocked a sender, Apple Mail will automatically move any future emails from that sender to the "Junk" folder. You can also use the "Block" feature to block entire domains or email addresses.

Note: Blocking a sender in Apple Mail does not guarantee that you will never receive emails from that sender again, as spammers can use different email addresses or domains to send emails. However, it can help reduce the amount of spam you receive.
