Blocking email with best with windows live mail

Windows Live Mail! That's an older email client, but I can still help you with blocking emails.

To block an email sender in Windows Live Mail, follow these steps:

  1. Open Windows Live Mail and go to the "Inbox" folder.
  2. Find the email from the sender you want to block in your inbox.
  3. Right-click on the email and select "Junk Email" > "Block Sender".
  4. A confirmation dialog box will appear. Click "OK" to block the sender.

Alternatively, you can also block a sender by using the "Junk Email" settings:

  1. Go to "Tools" > "Junk Email" > "Junk Email Options".
  2. In the "Junk Email Options" window, click on the "Safe Senders" tab.
  3. Click on the "Add" button and enter the email address of the sender you want to block.
  4. Select "Block" from the dropdown menu.
  5. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Note: When you block a sender, Windows Live Mail will automatically move any future emails from that sender to the "Junk Email" folder.

Additionally, you can also use the "Spam Filter" settings to block emails based on specific keywords or phrases:

  1. Go to "Tools" > "Spam Filter" > "Spam Filter Options".
  2. In the "Spam Filter Options" window, click on the "Words and Phrases" tab.
  3. Click on the "Add" button and enter the keyword or phrase you want to block.
  4. Select "Block" from the dropdown menu.
  5. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Remember to regularly check your "Junk Email" folder to ensure that legitimate emails are not being incorrectly flagged as spam.
