Boite mail gmail connection

Step 1: Enable IMAP in your Gmail account

To start, you need to enable IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) in your Gmail account. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "See all settings."
  3. Go to the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.
  4. Select the "Enable IMAP" radio button.
  5. Click "Save Changes."

Step 2: Set up Boite Mail with your Gmail account

Now, let's set up Boite Mail with your Gmail account:

  1. Open Boite Mail and go to "Paramètres" (Settings).
  2. Click on "Comptes" (Accounts) and then "Ajouter un compte" (Add an account).
  3. Select "Gmail" as the email provider.
  4. Enter your Gmail address and password.
  5. Make sure the "Type de compte" (Account type) is set to "IMAP".
  6. In the "Serveur IMAP" (IMAP server) field, enter "imap.gmail.com".
  7. In the "Serveur SMTP" (SMTP server) field, enter "smtp.gmail.com".
  8. Set the "Port" to 993 for IMAP and 587 for SMTP.
  9. Click "Valider" (Validate) to save the changes.

  4. In the "Serveur de réception" (Receiving server) field, enter "imap.gmail.com".
  5. In the "Serveur d'envoi" (Sending server) field, enter "smtp.gmail.com".
  6. Set the "Port" to 993 for IMAP and 587 for SMTP.
  7. Click "Valider" (Validate) to save the changes.
