MYSTERIOUS CAT SIGHTINGS ROCK TOWN

Residents of Catskill, NY are abuzz with reports of a series of bizarre cat sightings in the area. According to eyewitnesses, a group of cats, described as "large, fluffy, and eerily calm," have been spotted roaming the streets and alleys of downtown Catskill.

"I was walking to the diner for breakfast when I saw them," said local resident, Agnes Jenkins. "They were just sitting there, staring at me like they owned the place. I've never seen anything like it."

The cats, which appear to be a mix of domestic and feral breeds, have been seen in various locations throughout the town, including Main Street, the park, and even the local library.

"I was studying for my exam when I saw one of them walk by," said Catskill High School student, Jake Wilson. "It was huge! I've never seen a cat that big before. It just kept walking like it was on a mission or something."

While some residents are thrilled by the unexpected visitors, others are expressing concern about the potential health risks associated with feral cats.

"I'm worried about the rabies," said local business owner, Maria Rodriguez. "We need to make sure these cats are vaccinated and not a threat to our community."

The Catskill Animal Shelter has issued a statement urging residents to report any further sightings to their office, and promising to send a team to capture and care for the cats.

In the meantime, residents are advised to exercise caution when approaching the mysterious felines.
