Btinternet windows live mail settings

Here are the settings for BT Internet's Windows Live Mail:

Incoming Mail Server:

• Server name: pop.btinternet.com
• Port: 110
• Username: Your BT Internet email address (e.g. [yourname]@btinternet.com)
• Password: Your BT Internet email password

Outgoing Mail Server:

• Server name: smtp.btinternet.com
• Port: 587
• Username: Your BT Internet email address (e.g. [yourname]@btinternet.com)
• Password: Your BT Internet email password

Additional Settings:

• Authentication: Use the same username and password for both incoming and outgoing mail servers.
• SSL/TLS: Enable SSL/TLS encryption for both incoming and outgoing mail servers.
• Authentication method: Use the "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" option.

Windows Live Mail Settings:

1. Open Windows Live Mail.
2. Click on "File" > "Account Settings" > "Account".
3. Click on "Add" and select "Email Account".
4. Enter your BT Internet email address and password.
5. Click on "Next" and select "Manual setup or additional server types".
6. Select "POP3" as the incoming mail server type.
7. Enter the incoming mail server settings as above.
8. Select "SMTP" as the outgoing mail server type.
9. Enter the outgoing mail server settings as above.
10. Click on "Next" and then "Finish".

That's it! Your Windows Live Mail should now be set up to connect to your BT Internet email account.
