Business reply mail fees 2021

The fees for Business Reply Mail (BRM) in the United States are set by the United States Postal Service (USPS) and are subject to change. As of 2021, the fees for BRM are as follows:

Domestic Business Reply Mail

• Postage: $0.155 per piece (includes the cost of postage and handling)
• Minimum order: 500 pieces
• Maximum order: 100,000 pieces

International Business Reply Mail

• Postage: $1.20 per piece (includes the cost of postage and handling)
• Minimum order: 500 pieces
• Maximum order: 100,000 pieces

Business Reply Mail Permit

• Annual fee: $25 (required for all BRM accounts)
• Permit fee: $25 (required for each permit)

Additional Fees

• Address correction fee: $0.05 per piece
• Undeliverable as Addressed (UAA) fee: $0.05 per piece
• Return to Sender (RTS) fee: $0.05 per piece

How to Calculate BRM Fees

To calculate the total cost of your BRM, you'll need to multiply the number of pieces you're sending by the postage rate. For example, if you're sending 1,000 pieces of BRM, the total cost would be:

You'll also need to add the annual permit fee and any additional fees (such as address correction or UAA fees) to the total cost.

How to Order BRM

To order BRM, you'll need to contact the USPS or visit their website. You'll need to provide the following information:

• Your business name and address
• The type of BRM you want to order (domestic or international)
• The number of pieces you want to order
• The frequency of your mailings (e.g., monthly, quarterly)

The USPS will then provide you with a permit number and a unique barcode that you'll need to use on your BRM pieces.
