Calgary election mail in ballot

The City of Calgary offers mail-in ballots as an option for eligible voters to cast their ballots in municipal elections. Here are the details:

  3. Be a resident of Calgary

  1. Fill out the online application form on the City of Calgary's website
  2. Contact the City's Elections office by phone (403-268-5311) or email ([email protected])
  3. Visit the City's Elections office in person (located at 8th Floor, Municipal Building, 800 Macleod Trail SE)

Deadline to request a mail-in ballot:

The deadline to request a mail-in ballot is typically 5:00 p.m. on the 10th day before the election. For the 2023 Calgary municipal election, the deadline to request a mail-in ballot is October 10, 2023.

Returning your mail-in ballot:

Once you receive your mail-in ballot, you must:

  2. Sign the declaration on the ballot
