Call back mail in outlook 2016
In Outlook 2016, you can set up a "Call Back" feature to remind you to call a contact back. Here's how:
Method 1: Using the "Follow Up" feature
- Open your Outlook 2016 client and go to the "Home" tab.
- Click on the "Follow Up" button in the "Move" group.
- Select "Remind Me" and choose a reminder time (e.g., "Today", "Tomorrow", etc.).
- In the "Remind Me" dialog box, select "Call" as the reminder type.
- Enter the contact's phone number in the "Phone" field.
- Click "OK" to save the reminder.
Method 2: Using the "Task" feature
- Open your Outlook 2016 client and go to the "View" tab.
- Click on the "Tasks" button in the "View" group.
- Click on "New Task" to create a new task.
- Enter the contact's name and phone number in the "Subject" and "Body" fields, respectively.
- Set the "Start Date" and "Due Date" to the desired dates.
- In the "Task" pane, click on the "Follow Up" button and select "Call" as the reminder type.
- Click "Save & Close" to save the task.
In both methods, the "Call Back" reminder will appear in your Outlook calendar at the specified time, with a phone icon indicating that it's a call reminder. When you click on the reminder, you'll be prompted to call the contact.
Note: Make sure you have the "Call" feature enabled in your Outlook settings. To do this, go to "File" > "Options" > "Calendar" and check the box next to "Use the Call feature".
