Can't see bcc in apple mail

Frustrating!

If you're having trouble finding the "Bcc" (Blind Carbon Copy) field in Apple Mail, here are a few things to try:

  1. Check the compose window: Make sure you're in the compose window when you're trying to add a Bcc field. If you're in the reading pane, you won't see the Bcc field.
  2. Look for the "To" field: The Bcc field is usually located below the "To" field in the compose window. It might be hidden behind a dropdown menu or a small arrow icon. Click on the arrow icon or the "To" field to expand it and reveal the Bcc field.
  3. Check your Mail settings: Go to Mail > Preferences > Composing, and make sure that "Show Bcc field" is enabled. If it's not, toggle the switch to enable it.
  4. Use the keyboard shortcut: You can also use the keyboard shortcut Command (⌘) + Shift + B to toggle the Bcc field on and off.
  5. Check your email account settings: If you're using an IMAP or Exchange account, the Bcc field might be disabled by default. Check your account settings to see if there's an option to enable Bcc.
  6. Try restarting Mail: Sometimes, simply restarting Mail can resolve the issue.
  7. Check for updates: Make sure you're running the latest version of macOS and Apple Mail. Updates often include bug fixes and improvements to the app.

If none of these steps work, you can try resetting your Mail preferences by going to Mail > Preferences > Reset and then restarting Mail. This will reset all your Mail preferences to their default settings.

I hope one of these solutions helps you find the Bcc field in Apple Mail!
