Can a druid wear mail

In Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition, the answer is no, a druid cannot wear mail armor.

According to the Player's Handbook (p. 92), druids are prohibited from wearing metal armor, including mail armor, due to their connection to nature and their emphasis on agility and flexibility. This restriction is intended to reflect the druid's focus on harmony with nature and their ability to move silently and strike from unexpected angles.

However, druids can wear leather armor, which is a more flexible and natural option that allows them to maintain their connection to nature while still providing some protection.

It's worth noting that some homebrew campaigns or custom rules may allow druids to wear mail armor, but this would require a specific exception or modification to the game's rules.
