Can i ask for a read reeipt in windows mail

A blast from the past!

Yes, you can request a read receipt in Windows Mail (also known as Windows Live Mail). Here's how:

  1. Compose a new email or open an existing one.
  2. Click on the "Options" button in the top-right corner of the window.
  3. In the "Options" window, click on the "Read Receipt" checkbox.
  4. You can also choose to request a delivery receipt, which will notify you when the email is delivered to the recipient's mailbox.

Here's what the "Read Receipt" option looks like:

When you send the email, the recipient will receive a notification asking if they want to send a read receipt. If they agree, you'll receive a notification when they open the email.

Note that the recipient can choose to decline the read receipt request, so it's not guaranteed that you'll receive a read receipt. Additionally, some email providers or clients may not support read receipts.
