Can i pull back sent mail from gmail

The eternal quest to undo a sent email!

In Gmail, you can recall or "undo send" an email within a short period of time after sending it. Here's how:

Method 1: Undo Send (available in Gmail's settings)

  1. Go to your Gmail settings by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right corner and selecting "See all settings."
  2. Scroll down to the "General" tab.
  3. Look for the "Undo Send" section and toggle the switch to "Enable Undo Send."
  4. Choose a time limit for how long you want to be able to recall your sent emails (5, 15, or 30 seconds).
  5. Click "Save Changes."

Now, when you send an email, you'll see a "Undo" link at the top of the page for a short period of time (the time limit you set). Clicking this link will recall the email and prevent it from being delivered.

Method 2: Use the "Undo Send" feature (available in the Gmail app)

  1. Open the Gmail app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Tap "Settings."
  4. Scroll down to the "General" section.
  5. Toggle the switch next to "Undo Send" to enable it.
  6. Choose a time limit for how long you want to be able to recall your sent emails (5, 15, or 30 seconds).

Now, when you send an email from the app, you'll see an "Undo" button at the bottom of the screen for a short period of time (the time limit you set). Tap this button to recall the email.
