Can i revert back to yahoo classic mail
Nostalgia! Unfortunately, Yahoo has discontinued the classic version of Yahoo Mail, and it's no longer possible to revert back to it. Here's what happened:
In 2013, Yahoo introduced a new version of Yahoo Mail, which was designed to be more modern and user-friendly. The new design was met with mixed reactions from users, and many were unhappy with the changes.
In 2015, Yahoo announced that it would be retiring the classic version of Yahoo Mail, and users would be automatically upgraded to the new version. The classic version was officially discontinued in 2016.
Although you can't revert back to the classic version, you can still access your old emails and contacts by using the Yahoo Mail Archive feature. Here's how:
- Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
- Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner of the page.
- Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the "Account" section.
- Click on "Archive" next to "Email Archive".
- You'll be taken to a page where you can view and search your archived emails.
Keep in mind that the archive feature only stores emails from the past 12 months. If you need to access older emails, you may need to use a third-party email client or service that supports POP3 or IMAP protocols.
