Can opera mail sync

Opera Mail, the email client that was part of the Opera browser suite, has limited syncing capabilities. Here's what you can and can't sync:

What you can sync:

  1. Email accounts: You can sync your email accounts across multiple devices, including desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices.
  2. Email settings: Your email settings, such as account settings, filters, and labels, are synced across devices.
  3. Contacts: Your contacts are synced across devices, including contact information, groups, and labels.

What you can't sync:

  1. Email messages: Unfortunately, Opera Mail does not sync email messages across devices. This means that if you delete an email on one device, it will still be present on other devices.
  2. Folders and labels: While you can sync your email settings, including folders and labels, the actual contents of those folders and labels are not synced.
  3. Custom filters and rules: Custom filters and rules you create in Opera Mail are not synced across devices.

Why is this the case?

Opera Mail uses a local storage system, which means that your email data is stored on each device individually. This allows for faster access to your email data, but it also means that syncing is limited to account settings, contacts, and some other metadata.

If you're looking for a more comprehensive email syncing solution, you may want to consider alternative email clients that offer more robust syncing capabilities, such as Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, or web-based email services like Gmail or Outlook.com.
