Can use my password on yahoo mail

Unfortunately, Yahoo Mail has changed its password policy, and you can no longer use the same password for both Yahoo Mail and other services. This is a security measure to protect your account from unauthorized access.

In 2013, Yahoo suffered a massive data breach, which compromised the security of millions of user accounts. As a result, Yahoo introduced new security measures to prevent similar breaches in the future.

When you try to log in to your Yahoo Mail account using the same password you use for other services, you'll likely receive an error message saying that your password is not valid or that you need to reset it.

To access your Yahoo Mail account, you'll need to create a new, unique password that meets Yahoo's password requirements. You can do this by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Yahoo Mail login page and click on "Forgot password."
  2. Enter your email address and click "Next."
  3. Follow the prompts to reset your password. You'll need to create a new password that meets Yahoo's requirements, which include:
    • A minimum of 8 characters
    • A mix of uppercase and lowercase letters
    • At least one number
    • At least one special character (such as!, @, #, etc.)

Once you've created a new password, you can use it to log in to your Yahoo Mail account.

Remember to use a strong and unique password for your Yahoo Mail account, and consider enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) to add an extra layer of security to your account.
