Can we delete a mail after sending it

The age-old question!

In most email providers, once you send an email, it's not possible to delete it from the recipient's inbox. However, there are some exceptions and workarounds:

  1. Some email providers offer a "recall" feature: Certain email providers, like Microsoft Exchange or Office 365, offer a "recall" feature that allows you to retract an email from the recipient's inbox. This feature is not foolproof, as the recipient may have already read or saved the email.
  2. Use a "delete" or "cancel" feature: Some email clients, like Gmail or Outlook, offer a "delete" or "cancel" feature that allows you to delete an email from your own sent folder. This won't delete the email from the recipient's inbox, but it will remove it from your own sent folder.
  3. Use a third-party service: There are third-party services, like SaneBlackhole or Email Recall, that claim to offer email recall features. These services work by sending a "recall" message to the recipient's email server, which then deletes the original email. However, these services are not foolproof and may not work in all cases.
  4. Contact the recipient: If you've sent an email and want to delete it, you can try contacting the recipient directly and asking them to delete the email. This is the most polite and effective way to handle the situation.

It's important to note that once an email is sent, it's out of your control. The recipient can forward, print, or save the email, and you may not be able to delete it from their inbox.
