Can we delete the mail once sent in gmail

The eternal question!

In Gmail, you can't completely delete an email once it's been sent. However, there are a few options to manage sent emails:

  1. Unsend: If you've sent an email within a short period (usually 5-30 seconds), you can unsend it. To do this, go to the "Sent" folder, find the email, and click on the three vertical dots next to it. Select "Undo" to recall the email. Note that this feature is only available for a limited time after sending.
  2. Mark as "Unread": You can mark a sent email as "Unread" to move it back to your inbox. This won't delete the email, but it will make it appear as if it's still unread. To do this, go to the "Sent" folder, find the email, and click on the checkbox next to it. Then, click on the "Mark as unread" button.
  3. Move to "Trash": You can move a sent email to the "Trash" folder, which will delete it permanently after 30 days. To do this, go to the "Sent" folder, find the email, and click on the three vertical dots next to it. Select "Move to trash" to delete the email.
  4. Use the "Trash" feature: Gmail has a feature called "Trash" that allows you to delete emails permanently. To use this feature, go to the "Trash" folder, find the email, and click on the checkbox next to it. Then, click on the "Empty trash" button to permanently delete the email.

Keep in mind that once you've deleted an email, it's gone forever. So, be careful when using these options!
