Can we revert back mail in gmail

The eternal question!

In Gmail, you can undo a sent email, but only for a short period of time. This feature is called "Undo Send" and it's available in the Gmail settings.

Here's how to enable and use it:

Enable Undo Send:

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "See all settings."
  3. Go to the "General" tab.
  4. Scroll down to the "Undo Send" section.
  5. Select the time period you want to be able to undo a sent email (5, 10, 15, or 30 seconds).
  6. Click "Save Changes."

Undo a sent email:

  1. After sending an email, you'll see a notification at the top of the page that says "Undo" for a short period of time (the time period you set in the settings).
  2. Click on the "Undo" button to recall the email.
  3. The email will be moved back to your "Drafts" folder, and the recipient will not receive it.

Note that Undo Send only works for emails sent from the Gmail web interface, not for emails sent from the Gmail mobile app or other email clients.

Also, keep in mind that Undo Send is not a guarantee that the email will be completely deleted from the recipient's inbox. The recipient may still have received the email before you could undo it, and it's possible that they may have already read or responded to it.

I hope that helps!
