Can word files be mailed to whatsapp

Unfortunately, WhatsApp does not support sending Word files (.docx) directly. WhatsApp is primarily designed for sending text messages, images, videos, and audio files.

However, there are a few workarounds to share Word files with someone on WhatsApp:

  1. Convert to PDF: You can convert your Word file to a PDF file, which can be sent via WhatsApp. You can use online tools like SmallPDF, Convertio, or Online-Convert to convert your Word file to PDF.
  2. Take a screenshot: If the Word file contains only a few pages or a simple document, you can take a screenshot of each page and send them as individual images via WhatsApp.
  3. Use a third-party app: There are some third-party apps, like FileDrop or Send Any File, that allow you to send large files, including Word documents, via WhatsApp. These apps often require you to upload your file to their servers and then share a link with the recipient.
  4. Email the file: If the recipient has a Gmail account, you can email the Word file to them and then share the email link on WhatsApp.

Keep in mind that WhatsApp has a file size limit of 100 MB, so if your Word file is larger than that, you may need to use one of the above workarounds or split the file into smaller parts.
