Can you auto forward aol mail
The nostalgia of AOL mail!
Unfortunately, AOL no longer allows auto-forwarding of emails from its classic mail service. In 2017, AOL discontinued its classic mail service and replaced it with a new service called AOL Mail, which is powered by Verizon Media.
However, you can still forward emails from your AOL Mail account to another email address using the following methods:
Method 1: Forwarding emails using AOL Mail settings
- Log in to your AOL Mail account.
- Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner and select "Settings."
- Scroll down to the "Accounts" section and click on "Forwarding."
- Enter the email address you want to forward emails to in the "Forward to" field.
- Click "Save Changes."
Method 2: Forwarding emails using IMAP or POP3
- Log in to your AOL Mail account using an email client like Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird.
- Set up your AOL Mail account using IMAP or POP3 settings. You can find these settings in your AOL Mail account settings (see above).
- Configure your email client to forward emails from your AOL Mail account to another email address.
Important notes:
- AOL Mail has a limit on the number of emails you can forward per day. If you exceed this limit, you may not be able to forward emails for a certain period.
- Forwarding emails may not work if you have a large number of emails in your AOL Mail account, as AOL may have limitations on the number of emails that can be forwarded at once.
- If you're using a third-party email client to forward emails, you may need to configure the client to use AOL Mail's SMTP server settings.
