Can you mail in eso
In the Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), you can indeed mail items to other players. This feature is called "Mail" or "Post" in the game. Here's how it works:
Sending Mail:
- Open your inventory by pressing the "I" key (default keybinding).
- Select the item you want to send by clicking on it.
- Right-click on the item and select "Send to Friend" or "Send to Guild" (depending on the recipient).
- Enter the recipient's name or select them from your friends list or guild roster.
- Choose a subject for the mail (optional).
- Confirm the send action.
Receiving Mail:
- Open your mailbox by clicking on the mailbox icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Select the mail you want to open by clicking on it.
- Click on the "Open" button to receive the item(s) sent to you.
Mailbox Limits:
- You can store up to 100 items in your mailbox.
- If you exceed this limit, you'll need to delete some items or use the "Clear Mailbox" option to remove all items.
Mailbox Fees:
- Sending mail is free, but receiving mail may incur a small fee (in gold) depending on the weight and value of the items sent.
- You can check the mail fee by hovering over the "Send" button.
Security:
- Mail is not secure, so be cautious when sending valuable items to other players.
- If you're concerned about security, consider using the game's trading system or other secure methods to transfer items.
