Can you mail items cross realm wow
In World of Warcraft, you can mail items to other players, but there are some limitations and restrictions.
Cross-Realm Mailing
As of the Shadowlands expansion (patch 9.0), Blizzard introduced a feature called "Cross-Realm Mailing" which allows players to send mail to other players on different realms. This feature is available for all players, regardless of their realm or faction.
To send mail to a player on a different realm, follow these steps:
- Open your mailbox by clicking on the mailbox icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.
- Click on the "Compose Mail" button.
- Enter the recipient's name and the realm they are on (e.g., "JohnDoe-Stormwind").
- Attach the items you want to send to the mail.
- Click "Send" to send the mail.
Restrictions
While Cross-Realm Mailing is available, there are some restrictions to keep in mind:
- You can only send mail to players who are on a different realm, not to players on the same realm.
- You can only send mail to players who are in the same faction (Alliance or Horde).
- There is a limit to the amount of items you can send in a single mail (currently 20 items).
- There is a cooldown period between sending mail (currently 30 minutes).
- Some items, such as gold, cannot be sent through mail.
Alternative Methods
If you need to send items to a player on the same realm, you can use other methods:
- Trade: You can trade items with other players in the same trade window.
- Auction House: You can sell items on the Auction House and have the buyer pick them up.
- In-game Storage: You can store items in your bank or guild bank and have the player pick them up.
