Canada post regular mail tracking

Canada Post offers tracking for regular mail, also known as "Lettermail" or "Domestic Lettermail". Here's how it works:

Tracking Options:

  1. Tracking: This is the most basic tracking option, which provides updates on the delivery status of your mail. You'll receive an email with a tracking number, and you can use this number to track your mail on Canada Post's website.
  2. Signature on Delivery: This option requires the recipient to sign for the mail upon delivery. You'll receive an email with a tracking number, and you can track the delivery status of your mail.
  3. Signature and Tracking: This option combines the benefits of Signature on Delivery and Tracking. You'll receive an email with a tracking number, and you can track the delivery status of your mail. The recipient will also need to sign for the mail upon delivery.

How to Track Your Mail:

  1. Visit Canada Post's website at www.canadapost.ca.
  2. Click on "Track a Package" or "Track a Letter" at the top of the page.
  3. Enter your tracking number (found on the mailing label or in your email confirmation).
  4. Click "Track" to view the latest updates on your mail's delivery status.

Tracking Updates:

Canada Post typically updates tracking information in the following stages:

  1. Departure: Your mail has left the post office where it was sent.
  2. In Transit: Your mail is being transported to its destination.
  3. Arrival: Your mail has arrived at the destination post office.
  4. Delivery: Your mail has been delivered to the recipient.

Note: Tracking updates may not be available for all mail items, especially those sent via regular mail. If you're unsure about the tracking status of your mail, you can contact Canada Post's customer service at 1-866-607-6307.
