Cancel account gmail

To cancel a Gmail account, you'll need to follow these steps:

Method 1: Cancel account through Google Account settings

1. Sign in to your Google Account.
2. Click on the profile picture or icon in the top right corner, then select "My Account" from the dropdown menu.
3. Scroll down to the "Account" section and click on "Data & personalization".
4. Scroll down to the "Download, delete, or make a plan for your data" section and click on "Delete your account or service".
5. Select "Delete your account" and follow the prompts to confirm.
6. Enter your password and confirm that you want to delete your account.

Method 2: Cancel account through Gmail settings

1. Sign in to your Gmail account.
2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner, then select "See all settings".
3. Scroll down to the "Accounts and Import" tab.
4. Click on "Delete account" at the bottom of the page.
5. Confirm that you want to delete your account.

Important notes:

• Before canceling your account, make sure you have saved any important emails or data you want to keep.
• Canceling your Gmail account will also cancel any other Google services associated with that account, such as Google Drive, Google Photos, and more.
• If you're canceling a Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) account, you'll need to contact your administrator or the account owner to request cancellation.
• If you're canceling a Google account that's linked to a Google Play Store account, you'll need to cancel the Google Play Store account separately.

After canceling your account, you'll no longer be able to access your Gmail account or any other Google services associated with that account.
