Frustrating! Don't worry, I'm here to help you troubleshoot the issue. Here are some steps to help you delete emails on your iPad:

Check if you have the correct account selected

  1. Open the Mail app on your iPad.
  2. Tap on the "Mailboxes" tab at the top left corner.
  3. Make sure the account you want to delete emails from is selected.

Check if the email is in the "Trash" folder

  1. Open the Mail app on your iPad.
  2. Tap on the "Trash" folder (it might be labeled as "Deleted Mail" or "Junk Mail" depending on your account settings).
  3. Check if the email you want to delete is in this folder. If it is, you can delete it by swiping left on the email and tapping "Delete Forever".

Check if the email is in a "Draft" or "Sent" folder

  1. Open the Mail app on your iPad.
  2. Tap on the "Drafts" or "Sent" folder (depending on where you think the email might be).
  3. Check if the email you want to delete is in this folder. If it is, you can delete it by swiping left on the email and tapping "Delete Forever".

Check if the email is flagged or marked as "Read"

  1. Open the Mail app on your iPad.
  2. Swipe left on the email you want to delete.
  3. Check if the email is flagged or marked as "Read". If it is, try unflagging or unmarking it as "Read" and then try deleting it again.

Check your account settings

  1. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  2. Tap on the account you're having trouble deleting emails from.
  3. Check if the "Delete Mail" option is enabled. If it's not, toggle it on.

Reset your Mail app

  1. Go to Settings > General > Reset.
  2. Tap on "Reset Mail, Contacts, Calendars".
  3. Confirm that you want to reset the Mail app.

Contact your email provider

If none of the above steps work, it's possible that the issue is with your email provider's server or settings. Try contacting your email provider's support team for assistance.

I hope these steps help you resolve the issue and delete the email on your iPad!
